Cancellation policy
Purchase Options Cancellation Policy
This policy applies to products sold by Artfully Taught through a preorder or other purchase option involving future fulfillment.
Preorder Cancellations
Customers may request to cancel a preorder at any time before the order has been submitted to our warehouse for fulfillment.
To request a cancellation, please contact us at [customer service email] and include:
- Your name
- Your order number
- The email address used to place the order
- The item you would like to cancel
Submitting a cancellation request does not guarantee that the order can be canceled. Because orders are fulfilled by a third-party warehouse, we may be unable to stop an order once it has entered processing or fulfillment.
Refunds for Canceled Preorders
If your cancellation request is approved, any amount already paid for the canceled item will be refunded to the original payment method.
Please allow time for the refund to be processed and posted by your bank, credit card company, or payment provider.
Original shipping charges are refundable only when the entire order is canceled before fulfillment. Any shipping charges associated with products that have already entered fulfillment may not be refundable.
Orders Containing Preorder and Available Items
If an order contains both available products and preorder products, the items may be held and shipped together when the preorder becomes available, or they may be shipped separately depending on warehouse and fulfillment arrangements.
Canceling a preorder item does not automatically cancel other items in the same order. Please clearly identify which items you would like canceled.
Estimated Availability and Shipping Dates
Any release, availability, fulfillment, or shipping date associated with a preorder is an estimate and is not guaranteed.
Production schedules, warehouse processing, carrier delays, supply interruptions, severe weather, and other circumstances outside our control may affect the estimated date.
If we learn that a preorder cannot be shipped within the originally communicated timeframe, we will provide an updated estimate when reasonably possible. Customers may then choose to:
- Keep the preorder and wait for the revised shipment date, or
- Cancel the unfulfilled preorder and request a refund
Changes to Preorders
Requests to change the product, quantity, shipping address, or other details of a preorder must be submitted before warehouse processing begins.
We cannot guarantee that changes can be made after an order has been placed. In some cases, the original order may need to be canceled and a new order placed.
After Fulfillment Begins
Once an order has been submitted to the warehouse, fulfilled, or shipped, it can no longer be canceled under this policy.
After that point, the order is subject to the Artfully Taught Return and Refund Policy. Refusing delivery or returning a package to the sender does not automatically qualify the order for a refund.
Digital Products
Digital downloads and other digital products are delivered electronically and are not preorders unless specifically identified as such.
Due to the nature of digital products, digital purchases generally cannot be canceled or refunded after the download or access link has been delivered, except where required by law or where the digital product is defective or inaccessible.
Artfully Taught Cancellations
Artfully Taught reserves the right to cancel and refund a preorder if:
- The product is discontinued
- The product cannot be produced or fulfilled
- A pricing or listing error occurred
- Payment cannot be completed
- Fraudulent or unauthorized activity is suspected
- Fulfillment becomes impracticable
If Artfully Taught cancels a paid preorder, the amount paid for the canceled item will be refunded to the original payment method.
